RESISTANCE/SEAM/SPOT WELDER – 3rd Shift

Job Objective: Committed to being part of a positive working environment while providing quality products and meeting customer’s schedule.  Position will work in a variety of shops areas as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

·         Good mechanical skills.

·         Good communication skills.

·         Must be able to setup and run resistance weld machines and perform your own tests.

·         Ability to operates foot pedal to activate resistance welder

·         Ability to read, understand and follow general job operations.

·         Frequently lifts 10 – 25 lbs.; occasionally lifts 50lbs.

·         Standing or walking for extended periods of time.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·         Good mechanical skills

·         Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

·         Ability to understand and follow directions to complete assigned task.

·         Ability to learn how to operate a variety of machines.

·         Attention to detail is a must.

Work Environment:

·         Usual working days/hours: Monday thru Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm; Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm.  Working hours are subject to change based on company needs, may require working on Saturdays or extended hours

·         Manufacturing shop environment

·         High noise and dust levels 

Equipment:

·         General Hand Tools

Requirements

·         High School Diploma or equivalent

·         Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
